Neutral Bay Dental Surgery staff take pride in providing high quality services to the community and at this time of global concern we will continue our focus on the health and safety of our clients and staff. As per the recent government announcement restrictions have been downgraded to level 1 for dental requirements which permits all dental treatments using standard precautions for people who do not meet epidemiological or clinical risk factors for COVID-19 infection transmission.
As dental is an essential service industry we will continue to provide dental care to all patients, although now we must take extra precautions and appropriate pre-screening to ensure the safety of all clients and staff.
As a team we are continuing to follow the strict hygiene practices that dental practices adhere to. In addition to this, we have adopted the following processes to minimise the risk to patients and staff:
- All patients are screened for potential COVID–19 contact prior to appointment
- All staff have completed the Department of Health Infection Control COVID-19 training and put these additional hygiene practices into place.
- All patients will be asked to take an antiviral mouthwash prior to commencing treatment.
